To support health workers around the world to connect, discuss and share experiences of COVID-19 during these unprecedented times, ERS is pleased to announce the launch of the COVID-19 community forum. Initial topics of discussion include triage and diagnosis, acute care, chronic care and discharge issues, treating children with COVID, and mental health. ERS infections expert and Deputy Chief Editor of the European Respiratory Journal (ERJ), Prof. James Chalmers, answered COVID-19 questions sent to the European Lung Foundation (ELF) by respiratory patients. Webinars on SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19

The latest ERS and PREPARE Europe webinars on SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 include a presentation by Prof. Nanshan Zhong (the epidemiologist and pulmonologist who first discovered the SARS coronavirus) on the management of COVID-19 in China, as well as a follow-up interview with Prof. Zhong and ERS President-Elect Prof. Anita Simonds. An additional webinar featuring Dr Lennie Derde (consultant intensivist at Utrecht University, expert in research trial design for pandemics) is also available and focuses on the research response to SARS-CoV-2.
