Upcoming ERS webinar: panel discussion on paediatric pulmonology

On 11 July (18:00–19:00 CEST), ERS will hold a panel discussion on basic research in paediatric pulmonology. The discussion will be chaired by Dr Olatunde Odusote and Dr Adaeze Ayuk, and will feature guest speakers Dr Joy Eze and Dr Sandra Kwarteng Owusu. The session will describe what the field of basic research in paediatric pulmonlogy entails, explain the need to start an early research career in paediatric pulmonology, and describe the steps needed to accomplish a research career in this field. ERS publications awarded highest Journal Impact Factors to date

In the latest iteration of Clarivate Analytics' Journal Citation Reports, the European Respiratory Journal (ERJ) and European Respiratory Review (ERR) have been awarded with their highest Journal Impact Factors to date. ERJ is now ranked second in the respiratory system category, with an Impact Factor of 33.795. ERR's Impact Factor of 9.553 puts it seventh in the same category. ERJ Open Research received its first ever Impact factor: at 4.239 it is 29th in the respiratory system category. ERS congratulates the editors and their boards for this achievement, and thanks the authors, reviewers and readers for their continued support.
