New ERS Journal Chief Editors announced
Two new ERS journal Chief Editors will start their mandates in January 2022. Dr Renata Riha will take care of the European Respiratory Review. Dr Riha is a consultant in sleep and respiratory medicine at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and honorary reader at the University of Edinburgh, UK, and brings a wealth of editorial experience, including as a past Chief Editor of Breathe. Dr Esther Barreiro, a researcher and physician at the Hospital Del Mar and CIBERES, Spain, will be Chief Editor of ERJ Open Research. Dr Barreiro's research focuses on muscle wasting and cachexia in chronic respiratory diseases and lung cancer; until recently she was Editor-in-Chief of Archivos de Bronconeumología. Congratulations to both!
