The June issue of the
European Respiratory Journal features the results of a study on the predictors of successful long-term smoking cessation amongst patients with COPD. The results of the study suggest that healthcare providers should take the patient's level of education, general health perspective and personal relationship status into account. These were all shown to affect the success of smoking cessation. Read more
