Predicting epiglottic collapse in OSA

A study in the September issue of the European Respiratory Journal demonstrates that epiglottic collapse can be identified from airflow signals measured during sleep studies. The authors suggest that this may enable clinicians to use clinical data to characterise underlying physiology – it may also improve treatment decisions.
