Pulmonary arterial hypertension and systemic sclerosis

The current issue of the European Respiratory Review (ERR) features a review on screening for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in systemic sclerosis (SSc). The review discusses the rationale, modalities and future horizons of screening. It suggests that screening can detect PAH at an early stage, meaning medical intervention may improve outcome for SSc patients. Read this open access review here.
