Exacerbations in COPD

On 19 June, the European Respiratory Society (ERS) will hold a panel discussion on exacerbations in COPD. Chaired by Dr Emer Kelly, this webinar will cover: definitions of COPD exacerbations; exacerbation severity assessment and the risk of further exacerbations; the suggested duration of antibiotic and steroid use for exacerbations; post-COVID-era use of tele-monitoring in COPD follow-up; and the role of "shielding" in the future.
