OSA and dentofacial orthopaedics

On 11 June 2024, Professor Karen Spruyt and Professor Stijn Verhulst will chair an ERS webinar entitled "At the crossroads of obstructive sleep apnoea and dentofacial orthopaedics: exploring research avenues and clinical interventions in childhood." The webinar will delve into the intricate relationship between orthodontic interventions and respiratory functions, which are intricately linked with facial development in childhood. It will discuss the efficacy of orthodontic treatment, will consider morbidity associated with obstructive sleep apnoea and will highlight future clinical and research priorities.
