In response to the global challenge posed by post-COVID syndrome, or "long COVID", the European Respiratory Journal (ERJ) is calling for new submissions on long COVID, post-COVID syndrome and the long-term impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly with regard to the pulmonary system. Preference will be given to papers that are clinical trials, provide mechanistic insight to its pathophysiology, or provide new knowledge on its clinical course or endophenotypes.
