European Respiratory Review: pick of the week

Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy seems to significantly improve glycated haemoglobin levels in patients with type 2 diabetes and obstructive sleep apnoea. The amount of improvement is associated with the duration of CPAP use, so optimal adherence to CPAP should be a primary goal in these patients.
