Predictors of smoking cessation in COPD

The June issue of the European Respiratory Journal features the results of a study on the predictors of successful long-term smoking cessation amongst patients with COPD. The results of the study suggest that healthcare providers should take the patient's level of education, general health perspective and personal relationship status into account.
