ERJ Open Research: spacer devices for inhaled therapy
In the current issue of ERJ Open Research, Walter Vinken and colleagues review the use of spacer devices for inhaled therapy. They conclude that every patient treated with a pressurised metered-dose inhaler should own and regularly use a spacer or valved holding chamber, and know how to use it properly, both for routine preventer therapy and in an emergency. Vinken and colleagues also reiterate practical recommendations for correct usage and maintenance. Read the article here or visit openres.ersjournals.com to access the issue in full.
