Pulmonary hypertension and neurofibromatosis type 1

The September issue of the European Respiratory Review features an interesting series article on pulmonary hypertension (PH) as a rare but severe complication of neurofibromatosis type 1. The article suggests that as there are no data available on the efficacy of specific PH treatment, patients should be evaluated in expert centres and referred for lung transplantation at an early stage.
