New ERJ series: controversies in COPD

The November issue of the European Respiratory Journal (ERJ) features the first article in the "Controversies in COPD" series. The article asks "What is a COPD exacerbation?" and looks at the current state of the art in exacerbations, with respect to definitions, associated pitfalls and challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
